Abstract: nation very slowly a t a low temperature, I have detected as little as forty-four hundred thousandths of one per cent. I give below the results of my last determination of benzoic acid in tomato ketchup. Two samples were taken and to one, 0.12 g. of sodium benzoate (0.1 g. benzoic acid) was added.
