Dysbiosis of gut microbiota after cholecystectomy is associated with non‐alcoholic fatty liver disease in mice

Abstract: Increasing evidence suggests that cholecystectomy is an independent risk factor for non‐alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). However, the underlying mechanisms that lead to hepatic lipid deposition after cholecystectomy are unclear.
