Identification of type 2 diabetes loci in 433,540 East Asian individuals

Abstract: SUMMARY Meta-analyses of genome-wide association studies (GWAS) have identified >240 loci associated with type 2 diabetes (T2D) 1 , 2 , however most loci have been identified in analyses of European-ancestry individuals.
