Social media have revolutionized communication in tourism industry. Review of the current literature revealed that previous studies have examined the role of information technology in tourism, but still there is a lack of study to reveal how social media promote knowledge sharing processes. To this end, the authors review extant related articles in knowledge management in tourism. The purpose of this study is understanding of knowledge sharing in social media in tourism sector. Specific concentration is on integration of tacit knowledge sharing during pre-travelling decision making. Finding of this study contribute to researchers, organizations and policy makers in tourism industry.

Cloud computing (CC) is a recently developed computing paradigm that can be utilized to deliver everything-as-a-service to various businesses. In higher education institutions (HEIs), CC is rapidly being deployed and becoming an integral part of institution experience. CC adoption in HEIs is accompanied by numerous scientific contributions that address the topic from different perspectives. A systematic review of these heterogeneous contributions, which provide a coherent taxonomy, can be considered interesting for HEIs to identify opportunities to use CC in its own context. Therefore, this systematic literature review aims to analyze existing research on adopting and using CC in HEIs, review background research to develop a coherent taxonomy and provide a landscape for future research on CC in HEIs. The outcomes of this paper include a coherent taxonomy and an overview of the basic characteristics of this emerging field in terms of motivation and barriers of adopting CC in HEIs, existing individual and organizational theoretical models to understand the future requirements for extensively adopting and using CC in HEIs, and factors that influence the adoption of CC in HEIs at individual and organizational levels. Considerable information is available in relation to adopting and using CC in HEIs. This review will enhance this information by offering an in-depth analysis of the existing data to bridge any gap and expand on existing literature.

Big data analytics (BDA) readiness factors have been widely researched; nevertheless, few have investigated the impact and success factors of BDA implementation in the organizational context. The relevance and quality of BDA outcomes have been a significant concern to the organizational leaders in supporting them for strategic decision-making. To that end, the objective of this study is twofold. Firstly, it investigates the factors that influencing the success of BDA implementation for effective decision-making. Secondly, this study adds to the body of knowledge in the information system (IS) domain, especially with its focus on BDA implementation packages. Based on 18 selected papers, this review has established 10 influencing factors that may influence the success of BDA implementation, therefore, contribute to the practice and research of BDA domain and its effectiveness towards the organizational performance enhancement.

Smart education and the sustainable development of smart campuses have drawn significant research attention. This is enabled by intelligent devices that are widely attracting massive applicability in personal and big business contexts and can increase efficiency and convenience. This paper aims to present a solution to address the lack of a proper adoption model for smart campus initiatives. The evaluation and synthesis of the literature were conducted by following the systematic literature review (SLR) procedure. The study’s findings revealed the taxonomy and IoT technologies leading to the wide adoption of IoT-based smart campuses. The technology adoption models and their corresponding variables help the authors identify and classify a suitable adoption framework for smart campuses. The limitations and challenges of adoption theories as they pertain to smart campuses are discussed. Finally, the study adapts perceived scalability, perceived replicability, perceived reliability, perceived privacy and security, perceived trust, the cost of deployment, usefulness, enjoyment, and technicality as adoption factors of sustainable smart campuses. This study offers practical and theoretical implications regarding the adoption and propagation of emerging smart campuses.

Based on Economic transformation programme of Malaysia Tourism and hospitality are one of the significant factors which effect on economy for achieving the vision of Malaysia 2020. In other hand, Rapid growths of these industries have effect on environment. This research tries to propose a new model by merging Theory Reasoned Action and Theory Planned Behaviour models which are implemented in achieving intention of consumer behaviour toward choosing Green hotels in Malaysia. Findings of this research will help the marketing policy makers and hotel managers to attract positional tourists who will visit Green hotels in Malaysia.
